#ParamoreTourFourMNL: A Dream Come True

This meant the world to me. I don't know how to explain it.

A band I grew up with

Which is to say this has been my dream since I was an 11 year old girl about to graduate grade school. 

My love for Paramore started when I found out about them thru MYX with the music video of Misery Business. And then later fell in love with their first album, All We Know is Falling.

I've been following them since (like all my previous tumblr blogs are 70% Paramore post reblogs).

This is not just a band I love. This is my number 1.

And then comes After Laughter

Just when I thought their songs couldn't get any more relatable, here they go and release After Laughter 💯. 

A lot of people complained with the change of sound and branding, but I love it 💛, because it's just like me. From the emo kid to finding myself in love with the color pink and dressing up and make up and everything about vanity (but has a lot of issues just the same).

When they released the album, me and a workmate had been talking about how we're both waiting for a tour that includes Manila. It was the time to get ready for it. Thinking about how expensive it may be or what old songs they'll play (My Heart 🙏🏻). 

So here we are a year later, where my life had made crazy turns since. Perfect timing. ⚡️

40 minutes of panic for the tickets

One issue with the concert was how fast the tickets got sold. And how there's a chance we wouldn't get one because the website crashed from the traffic.

The transaction failed 3 times 👎🏻.

Our selected seats had bumped to the very end of Patron seats.

Chaos in the office lasted about 40 minutes with a lot of people helping (or not helping) 💁🏻. 

It's still heart breaking how a lot of people didn't get theirs.

We went to SM right after the transactions and there's still a long line for those buying tickets. But we knew it was almost sold out according to the website. (maybe there were reserved seats for buying in the mall itself but still) 💔

Reading comments from posts of Paramore World Facebook Page, even until now, of their own stories can get really sad ☹️. And I just really hope that all of those who went to concert loved the band as much as I do because we are why a lot of others didn't get one, even if they have the money.

But first, a resched

My sister chatted me about it when she found out and was shocked how sad my responses were because it wasn't totally cancelled. 💔💔💔

It hurts just the same. For me at least. 💔💔💔

On one hand I was completely heart broken by the news, and on the other I also know that this is for Hayley (queue Idle Worship).

So here we are, August 23 2018

Patron tickets

Why didn't we go VIP? I really don't know too. The guys I went to the concert with didn't know too. 💁🏻

Other than the fact that we weren't as close to the band, it was a great decision!

Going VIP for LANY was a struggle. And here at Patron I didn't have any problem with suffocation and being short. We had enough space to move around and we had a good view of the band.  💛

We got it right 👌🏻

I sneaked in a Canon 650D with a long lens!

I recently acknowledged how much I love taking photos just as much as I am vain (shameless plug: @takenbygiowee & @takenbygioweewithlights) 📸. And to have this chance to take photos of my favorite band, priceless 😭

Bringing a professional camera wasn't allowed. I have made my own research and asked people who always go to concerts about it. A lot had discouraged me to try because they are going to really check my bag (not just poke it).

When we parked the car, it took me awhile to go out because I was really hesitating. I didn't like the idea that I will have to go back to the car if they find out about this.

And then they said it would be worth a try.

And then it totally worked!

And now I have one more reason why it was the best day of my life 😭

Then I stopped taking photos after the 4th song

(and only started again when Zac was singing)

because this is one of those moments I don't want to waste trying to capture.

The videos others took will be posted in Facebook anyway.

And that's the story of the best day of my life 🤘🏻😭

How do you top this one off?

I've watched a lot of fan videos of live concerts, specially since we bought the tickets, but being there in the same room as them is just not the same.

And it's still overwhelming 2 days later.

And I don't know how to transfer how I felt into words so I'll stop here.
