My bestie and I just went to Hong Kong Disneyland, here's what we have to say to those who'll visit too.
Let's talk about expenses first, shall we.
If you check Hong Kong Disneyland's website and checkout park tickets prices, a 1 day ticket would cost you around β±4,000.
Wherein in Klook, it's just about β±3,000 πππ
And then a lot of blog/social media posts also recommends to buy meal vouchers in Klook as well to save a few πΈ. Just make sure you read the instructions in the voucher because we didn't. We had to go back to the entrance to have it scanned to be exchanged for the real food stubs.
We chose to eat in Starliner Diner during our trip because a.) it was a fast food and we're starving; and b.) we were going to Tomorrow Land next anyway. And it was the best chicken wings I've ever tried πthat I first thought I wasn't gonna like πππ
It has everything.
There are:
Everything. All at once. With overlapping schedules. With long waiting times for each. It's overwhelming. How do we get to see everything in just one day?
You know how people recommend a bunch of things when we tell them about where we're going next? Yep we didn't get to see a lot of those.
We had a list and all of all the things we really wanted to experience and we did just that. The rest, well, there wasn't enough time anymore (plus our feet hurts because we already had a 20KM walk the day before exploring Hong Kongππ»). So yep, time management is everything.
And they say this Disneyland was the smallest one.
Download the mobile app. It has the schedule of events for the day, a list of attractions, restaurants, stalls, facilities (yep even for water stations), and restrooms (++ for search features), and an interactive map that also display wait times for each attractions βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ.
It was a trial and error at first and I got lost with the navigation of the app quite a few times but once I got the hang of it, it was perfect ππ»
I made a screenshot for show and character meet and greet schedules and then planned everything out from there. It was a big help for us who was in constant panic with time running out to during our stay to see everything we liked.
And for wifi, there's free wifi in the park. A lot of blog posts will say it's only accessible in certain places and by that I thought it was just in a few selected places, but that's just not the case. As long as you're not inside any store or attraction, you can have access. So just step outside and there you go ππ»
That's all. K thx bye.
